Andrea ~ That's the key to any optimization or tracking system "working," - you have to apply what you learn. :) One of the reasons I like Crazy Egg and recommend it especially for people new to marketing online is that its' visual nature is easy and intuitive to understand.

btw - yes, the BLOG i360 Dev Team has it on the project board to make adding these type of codes (Crazy Egg & others) a quick copy-paste action. We'll keep you up to date as a BLOG i360 member as to when we've completed testing. ;-)

Susanne ~ Not sure how long ago you tested Crazy Egg and found site slow down, but we have not had any issues on any of our test sites. All load times seem fine. Seeing you can test it out again for free, can hurt to give it another try. :)

Warren ~ LOL "Smiley face heat map"... that's hilarious. If you can get your Tribe to do that, definitely submit a screen shot. ;-)

I've been using crazyegg for quite some time, but your post gave me a great new idea.

I'm going to work on placing links so that my heat map looks like a smiley face. I figure, if I can do that, I've really got my tribe under my control

I have had CrazyEggs added to my website but it slowed it down big time, so I have up.
The results were really useful though.

Maybe I should give it another try.

Great resource and nice illustration of how it performs. I would definitely give it a try and don't see how it wouldn't benefit site activity and/or increase conversions. Unless of course I didn't take action on the info I obtained from using this tool. Would/do you use this in addition to Blog i360 tracking?
