Paul -- Great job coaching Ines and Rick. And congrats on helping them win first place in our judging.

And yes, blogging is just one of 7 major online channels and a part of an overall click-and-mortar marketing matrix. Always has been as far as I believe. Regardless of all the hype of the last few years, from a business sense, it never should have been portrayed as an indigenous activity except for those who want to be full time tech or political writers.

Sherman -- thanks for stopping by and happy to have you as part of the TS Tribe. Looking forward to your contributions. :)

Priya -- thanks for joining the TS Tribe and yes! -- it is a very fun time to be doing business online! ;-)

Very true. Blogging is only one part of the social marketing mix, which must now take into consideration social networks and emerging new technologies that are announced almost every week. It's a fun time to be online :-)

Congrats Tribal Masters JP & Deb! Aloha from Beautiful British Columbia ;-)

JP, right on point - I agree. Let's bring New Media to light!

The first thing I said out loud when Deb IM'd me about the new name was "Ooooh, I love it!"

OK, back to seducing my tribe....

Cheers!

I agree with your deductions. To a certain extent, blogging as an indigenous activity has "jumped the shark." The larger framework of social media has assimilated it.
